The day starts early with hotel pick-ups scheduled between 4:30 to 5:00 am. From Cusco, expect a 3-hour car journey to reach Palccoyo. Upon arrival, you'll embark on a 2-hour hike around Palccoyo Mountain to explore its scenic landscapes.
The return trip to Cusco also takes approximately 3 hours, aiming to get you back around 6:00 pm.
During the journey, we'll stop at Cusipata town for both breakfast and lunch, each break lasting about an hour. Our route includes picking up all guests from their hotels before heading to Cusipata, where a 2-hour drive takes us to a restaurant for a delightful breakfast, followed by another hour's drive towards Palccoyo Mountain.
Once you arrive at Palcoyo Mountain, you'll prepare to embark on an exploration of this captivating site. Guided by our expert, you'll discover the three colored mountains and the stunning stone forest, with ample opportunities for photographs, insightful commentary from the guide, and moments to simply soak in the natural beauty of the area.
Following this memorable experience, we'll journey back by car to Cusipata, a scenic drive lasting approximately 1 hour, where a delicious buffet lunch awaits.
After a delightful lunch in Cusipata, we'll continue our journey back to Cusco, enjoying a scenic 2-hour drive through the picturesque Peruvian landscape. As we wind through valleys and past ancient terraces, you'll have time to reflect on the day's adventures and enjoy the beauty of the Andean mountains.
